Inquiry 1 – Evaluate Day 4 (11/10)

We wrapped up loose ends the first part of class today. And then filled out self/group evaluations and reflections on the learning targets. Congratulations on being done with Chapter 2!

In-Class Work:  Turn in 1-page drawing of Galilean thermometer and notebook

Homework: Finish reflection on learning targets, if you didn’t get it done in class.

We continued the assessment portion of Chapter 2 (Evaluate:  Properties R Us) . This is comprised of three parts:  a group visual project, group written responses, and individual written responses. All will be due Tuesday, November 10th.

In-Class Work:  Part III: More Questions, Process and Procedure #1-7

Homework: The project is due tomorrow, so make sure you’re all set!

Today was a short day, which we spent wrapping up the Elaborate section of Chapter 2.

In-Class Work:  Reflect and Connect #2

Homework: Finishing all remaining Reflect and Connect questions.

Learning Target:  Atoms interact with each other. Atomic interactions sometimes lead to changes in physical properties, chemical properties, or both.
