Today we spent more time working with molecular models. Mass can’t be created or destroyed in a chemical reaction, so we learned that sometimes you need more than one molecule of each compound.

Today was learned about chemical reactings, specifically combustion. We got to play with molecular molecules to make the reactants and products for the combustion of methane.

Homework: Determine if methane, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water are each reactants or products in a combustion reation.
